I took the photo that inspired me for this painting in 2010 on a foggy morning at Solis Chico River, Parque del Plata, Canelones, Uruguay. The scene was magical, which was unusual at this spot (see the photo on my Flickr page here). This was one of the first paintings I did, and I am happy with it.
